First gear grinding machine for EVORING

14.02.2025 - Coburg, Germany | Successful machine pre-acceptance of a KX 260 TWIN for the Hungarian subsidiary of Zhejiang Shuanghuan Driveline Co., Ltd.

Following the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone of EVORING Precision Manufacturing Kft. (Jászfényszaru, Hungary) in November 2023, the next step on the way to the start of production now follows. This includes the installation of numerous processing machines for the production of transmissions for electric cars. Last week, the pre-acceptance of the first gear centre for the plant in Jászfényszaru took place at the headquarters of the KAPP NILES Group. Mr Zhang Min, CEO of Zhejiang Shuanghuan Driveline Co, Ltd, the parent company of EVORING, visited KAPP NILES in Coburg together with a delegation to deepen the exchange on site.

The new EVORING plant covers an area of around 24,000 square metres not far from the Hungarian capital Budapest. The aim is is to establish the company as the largest specialised gearbox manufacturer in Europe in the future. The aim is to make a significant contribution to the further development of electromobility in Hungary and Europe.

KAPP NILES is proud to be part of this development and will deliver the first gear centre, a KX 260 TWIN, in the first quarter of 2025. This machine is equipped with two workpiece spindles and an interface for automatic loading. This makes it predestined for medium and large series production, as required in the field of transmission manufacturing. The delivery of further gear centres to the Hungarian plant is already planned for this year.
